Scary Movie
I was thinking about scary movies (as it is nearing Halloween, and other people have posted about them) and recalled a funny experience I had a few years ago. Back in 2010 I went with a friend to see the movie Devil in the movie theater. Its a movie about people getting trapped in an elevator and the devil coming and killing them off one by one. It was pretty freaky, and too scary for me, and I had a hard time sleeping after seeing it. The next day at work (I worked in the JFSB as a custodian) I was telling my coworker about the scary movie. At one point we had to get into the elevator to go get some cleaning supplies from the basement. We both nervously got into the elevator, and I tried to seem calm and collected, even though I was scared. The elevator started moving downward, and then all of a sudden lurched a bit and stopped moving. My heart stopped, and I looked over at my friend and his eyes were wide open. I knew I had the same shocked and frightened look on my face. Luckily, before I could have a complete meltdown the eleveator lurched again and started moving. Needless to say, we did not ride the elevator back up, and went and told our supervisor that it wasn't working right.
